Stupid Never Dies does not give Davy a universal dodge roll shared by every Style. Avoiding attacks relies on positioning, the movement tools of your current form and Stupid Parry for attacks that can be countered. Stupid Parry is not a guaranteed damage-free evade.
Move according to your current Style
Monster forms have different movement and defensive options. Werewolf emphasizes speed, and Harpy adds flight and aerial movement. Some Styles have evasive actions within their own movesets, but that does not create one dodge command that works identically in every form.

Check the actions available to the form you are currently using rather than assuming a move from another Style is always accessible. Exact button bindings and invulnerability windows are not verified here, so there is no confirmed universal dodge input to list.
Separate avoiding a hit from parrying it
Stupid Parry is a forward-moving defensive action that intercepts enemy attacks. Damage taken through the mechanic becomes recoverable damage, which Bite can restore. That makes it a different decision from moving out of an attack's path.
The attack signal matters:
| Signal | Defensive implication |
|---|---|
| Yellow-glowing Heat Attack | A parry opportunity that can lead to Stupid Impact and an exposed core |
| Red-flashing attack | Cannot be handled as a normal parry; avoid the attack instead |
Do not treat red attacks as a timing challenge to solve by repeatedly trying Stupid Parry. Creating space and leaving their path matters because the normal parry response does not apply.
Keep the attacker in view
The game has no conventional manual lock-on. If you lose sight of the enemy, reposition and correct the camera before committing to another attack. Combat Camera Assist can help rotate the view toward the fight, but it does not supply a dodge, immunity or permanent target lock.
For practice, distinguish the result you are trying to achieve: moving clear of the hit, using a Style's movement ability, or deliberately intercepting a parryable attack. Those actions have different conditions, and treating all three as the same “dodge” makes the combat harder to read.
