You can change Styles while airborne. Use the Style-switch control shown in your current control layout after obtaining the form you want. The change is not restricted to the ground, and you can also return to Zombie form in the air.
Set up the change
- Acquire the monster Styles you want through elite cores.
- Check the Style-switch binding in your current control layout.
- Enter the air using the movement available to your current form.
- Switch to the desired available Style before performing its follow-up action.

Try the supported Harpy-to-Golem sequence
One intended combination is to use Harpy to move above an enemy, then switch to Golem and perform a body press. The movement and the attack come from different forms: reaching a useful position first is part of the sequence.
Practice the change with enough room to see Davy's position relative to the target. Switching forms does not by itself confirm that the next attack will connect. The height, distance and direction still need to suit the move you are about to use.
Check availability before attempting a combo
A monster Style needs to be acquired and still available for the switch. Transformations have limited floor duration, so an earlier part of the dive is not proof that the same form remains usable now.
The exact keyboard key or controller button can vary with your control setup. Follow the binding displayed by the game instead of assuming a platform-specific input. This keeps the sequence usable whether you are playing with a controller or a customized keyboard layout.
